Matthew has been working at Google Seattle for 6 years, applying Machine Learning to research and products such as Maps, Covid modeling, and Google Health Studies. His research covers areas including privacy, fairness, and sustainability using on-device learning, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, and information retrieval.
